Lieutenant Taoufik Missaoui succumbed to his wounds, as a martyr, following the suicide attack that occurred in front of the United States embassy at the Banks of Lake 2, this Friday, March 6, 2020.
The lieutenant, originally from Sidi Bouzid, underwent surgery at the internal security forces hospital in La Marsa, which unfortunately could not save him.
