The three individuals were detained preventively for further investigation concerning money laundering and misappropriation of public funds.
The three people were arrested for investigating suspicions of corruption committed by the insolvency administrator of Cactus Prod, who was confiscated for deliberately concluding contracts in violation of the laws and provisions in force.

The case of the production company "Cactus Prod" has been pending before the courts since 2011.
In addition to presenter Sami Fehri, former Minister-Adviser to the President of the Republic, Abdelwahed Abdallah and five general directors of the Tunisian television, as well as Belhassan Trabelsi, brother-in-law of former President Ben Ali on the run, are accused in this case.
The case concerns overruns committed by the production company "Cactus Prod" under the former regime and which caused major financial losses to the Tunisian Television Establishment.
