Health Minister Abdellatif Mekki distressed by the behavior of some Tunisians who refuse measures of general confinement and isolation, expresses his concern saying :
I promised to be honest. As I told you before that we are on the right track, I must tell you that we are about to lose everything we have built .
Abdellatif Mekki said that the reasons behind his concern is the non-compliance with the confinement and the refusal of certain positive people to Covid-19 hospitalization or isolation in the dedicated centers, add to that they refuse to cooperate and to indicate the people who came into contact with them.
This poses a threat of the rapid spread of the disease. These behaviors destroy the efforts of citizens who respect the measures.
The Coronavirus pandemic is expected to peak this week, so the Ministry of health relies on the understanding of citizens in this delicate health condition to take collective responsibility and commitment to self and public health quarantine to counter the spread of virus.
